Join us for an evening of talks by inspirational women who have integrated environmental thinking and action into their lives, homes, communities, workplaces and careers. Each is a greencollarwoman in her own right who is showing leadership for sustainability. Come and hear their stories, knowledge and insights about how they climbed the green ladder and how you can climb it too. Collectively we hold the keys to a more sustainable world, so don't miss the chance the meet, collaborate and share winning strategies with other women just like you!

Speaker Bios:
Tashweka M. Anderson, Founder, GreenCollarWoman™

Tashweka M. Anderson is the founder of GreenCollarWoman™. She is an expert in Sustainable I.T. (Green I.T.) having gained relvant experience as the Green I.T. Portfolio Owner at Fujitsu Services and the Sustainable I.T. Business Manager at Computacenter, two of Europe's largest I.T. Service companies. Tashweka was born and raised in Jamaica, and was active in the Environment Watch movement there as a young girl.
She studied Political Science and Development at Columbia University and the London School of Economics. Tashweka earned a Masters degree in Political Science from Ohio State University in 2004. Tashweka has experience in many industries and fields, including teaching and financial services. Tashweka also worked as the Project Manager at Columbia University's Earth Institute in New York. She is also a published academic author having worked on a number of projects, including a 26 country review of evidence for the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development).
Tashweka is the Managing Director of GreenCollarWoman's parent brand, Anderson Brown Ltd. Amy Fetzer, Author, Climb the Green Ladder

Amy Fetzer is a freelance journalist, author and consultant specialising in sustainability. Her new book, Climb the Green Ladder: Make Your Company and Career More Sustainable, Wiley, is designed to empower and inspire others who also want to make a difference by giving them the tools to change their workplaces from within, to set them on more successful and sustainable paths. Amy’s work focuses on creating engaging communications, from environmental white papers to magazine articles and workshops, that inspire, entertain and inform. Her goal is to empower individuals and organisations to make positive choices.

Bola Gibson, Sustainable Development Senior Manager, Lloyds Banking Group Wholesale Division

Bola has an international background having lived, studied and worked in the UK, Zimbabwe, the USA and India. Prior to joining Lloyds TSB for the first time in 2004, she worked for the online not for profit, openDemocracy, as their Head of Publishing & Operations. Before rejoining Lloyds, she also worked for a UK corporate in India developing Business Change strategies, an Internal Communications function and establishing local staff-led CSR projects.
In her role at Lloyds Banking Group, she has developed innovative staff engagement and communication strategies around sustainability, and is now delivering an innovative training programme to build capability within the bank’s Wholesale division, enabling them to engage their customers in discussion about the low-carbon economy – in essence making sustainable development part of the business DNA.
As part of her work, Bola also mentors a group of 14 SME businesses through the 2 year Plato:Sustain programme. She maintains a keen interest in the not-for-profit sector, having sat on charity boards up until 2009, and is completing a Diploma in Applied Management at Warwick Business School.
Dr. Victoria Hands, Environment and Sustainability Manager, London School of Economics

Victoria has been the Environmental & Sustainability Manager at the London School of Economics & Political Science since 2005, establishing an environmental management system and placing LSE 2nd in the national ‘green league’ of 130 higher education institutions. She Chairs the London Universities Environment Group and founded a student consulting group.
She was recognised in 2009 by her home borough of Southwark as Green Goddess for her work to establish local community collaborations for social and environmental benefit – including tree planting, composting, recycling, after school clubs and community participation.
Passionate about sustainable development, operational efficiency and collaboration, Victoria has delivered several award winning waste avoidance projects in London which demonstrate joined-up thinking and doing and focus on simple, practical solutions. Victoria also coaches on leadership development programmes enabling people to grow and develop in areas of importance to them.

Eugenie Harvey, Director, 10:10

Eugenie spent the first eight years of her career working in a range of communications roles in Australia (Sydney Theatre Company, Rupert Murdoch's pay television start up FOXTEL) having studied for a BA in Communications. She moved to the UK in 2000 and joined one of the UK’s leading financial PR houses, Brunswick where she worked with Alan Parker. In 2002 Eugenie met community worker and special advisor to Gordon Brown, David Robinson who introduced Eugenie to his charity Community Links where she became involved as a volunteer.
In 2002, she quit Brunswick to join David and a small group of supporters to launch the social change organisation We Are What We Do (www.wearewhatwedo.org), which aimed to inspire people to use simple everyday actions to effect positive change to a wide range of social and environmental issues. Eugenie was interested in the role of mass communications and popular culture in effective behavioural change.
Since the organisation was launched in 2004 by Gordon Brown, Eugenie has created a range of exciting projects including the “million selling” books Change the World for a Fiver (2004) and Change the World 9 to 5 (2006) and a collaboration with Anya Hindmarch to create the iconic "I'm not a plastic bag" shopper (2007) which played an important part in the 48% reduction in the number of plastic bags given away by supermarkets. She was recognised as one of the FT’s 50 Most Creative and has been featured in a number of books including “Everyday Legends”. Eugenie joined the 10:10 as it the organisations new Director in November 2009.

Description
The Forge, located in London, is a brand new architecturally-designed sustainable building. All spaces have been created with environmental concerns in mind and feature natural insulation and ventilation systems, the extensive use of sustainable materials and solar thermal panels for hot water. The centrepiece is a stunning glazed courtyard with its own ‘living wall’ of plants which improves the air quality throughout the venue.
The Forge is a not-for-profit family-run venue designed by Burd Haward Architects who worked with Arup Acoustics for the delicate acoustic result.
The Forge is part of a larger multi-use space which consists of Caponata, a Sicilian Ristorante, Osteria and Bar which serves delicious food, all handmade and prepared on-site.
